Daniel A. Kraft is President — International for the Kraft Group. The Kraft Group is a private holding company headquartered in Boston. The Group is comprised of companies in the paper and packaging industries, sports and entertainment, and private equity investing. Dan also serves as the President and Chief Operating Officer of International Forest Products Corporation (IFP). IFP, a member of the Kraft Group, is an international trading company that markets paper, pulp, and solid wood products to more than 80 countries worldwide. Dan's father Robert Kraft founded IFP in 1972 primarily as a trader/exporter of containerboard grades of paper. Dan assumed management responsibility of the company in 1997. Since that time he has expanded the company through diversification into various other forest product commodities and geographic regions.

Today IFP is one of the world's largest privately owned forest products trading companies. The company's recent volumes have grown to over 2 million tons, comprised of containerboard, market pulp, secondary fibres, SBS, newsprint, lumber and solid wood products. The company is annually ranked among the top 50 of North America's largest exporters. IFP has subsidiary offices in London England, Amsterdam, Gothenburg Sweden, Moscow Russia, Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai China, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, Los Angeles California, and Vancouver Canada.

From 1994 to 1997 Mr. Kraft served as Vice President of Marketing for the Kraft Sports Group, which includes the New England Patriots, the New England Revolution, and Foxboro Stadium (now Gillette Stadium). In this role Mr. Kraft was responsible for all team and stadium sponsorship sales, broadcast rights, promotions, advertising and special events. From 1995 to 1999 he also served as Executive Producer of the Patriots pre-season game television broadcasts and of the New England Patriots weekly, Emmy award winning television show "Patriots All Access".

Upon his graduation from Tufts University in 1987, Dan worked as a Research Analyst and Account Executive at TeleRep in New York. TeleRep is one of the largest television station representatives in the country selling advertising time for stations across the USA. In 1990, Dan was promoted to Sales Manager of the firm's Boston office. He served in this role for 4 years.

He currently serves on the Board of Trustees at Tufts University, as well as Tufts' Board of Overseers for Athletics. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Massachusetts, and as an Trustee for the Rivers School. Dan is married with 3 children.
